HOW LONG WILL MY PROJECT TAKE?
Every project is different but assuming that there are no delays from your side of things a typical readymade website will take between 1 and 2 weeks to be completed. If you have a specific deadline please get in touch and we will do our best to help you.
HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
First you need to sign up online. We ask you some information so that we can create your account and you also pay for your website plus the first years hosting, technical support & cms charge with a debit or credit card. Once you have signed up we will then get in touch within 1 business day (often sooner) to ask if you have selected a design from the gallery and if not we will talk you through the different designs within the gallery. Once a design has been selected we will create your website and guide you through giving us the information (words and images) to complete your website. Don't worry if you have not had a website before as we will guide you through the process from start to finish.
HOW MUCH DOES THE SERVICE COST?
All our services are clearly broken down to the elements that you may want. With our readymade web design service there is a one off fee of £495 and an annual hosting, technical support & cms charge of £247. You can add an optional logo if you wish for £275. Prices are subject to 20% VAT (if you are based in the United Kingdom).
HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY PROJECT?
When you sign up for your readymade website you will pay for the service plus the first years hosting, technical support & cms charge with a debit or credit card. You can add an optional logo if you wish. After signing up an invoice will be available within your account (with VAT if you are in the United Kingdom). Our hosting charge starts from when you sign up.
I DO NOT HAVE A DOMAIN NAME
That is not a problem. You can register any domain name that you wish providing that is is available and then when you sign up just enter that domain name on the sign up page. When the website is ready to go live we will help you link it up to your new website. You can register a domain name with lots of different companies and we recommend Fasthosts which you can visit by clicking here.
CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THE CONTENT?
Yes. Although we do not offer a copy writing service we can help you generate content using AI tools and we also have access to lots of different stock libraries for your images.
DO YOU USE TEMPLATES?
We are a creative company with a strong team of web designers. With our bespoke web design service every website is individually designed around your exact requirements, however with our readymade service we have a gallery of web designs that you choose from. We cannot change the layout, but we can hide elements that you do not want, and we can also change the colours to suit your business.
CAN I UPDATE MY WEBSITE ONCE IT IS LIVE?
Yes. Every website that we build is built using Editir. When it goes live we will give you a training session so that you are comfortable with basic changes. Sometimes if the change is more involved or requires new design input you may want to ask us to do it for you and this would fall under our standard hourly charge.
HOW MANY PAGES CAN I HAVE?

CAN I HAVE A BLOG ON MY WEBSITE?
Yes. Publishing stories to your website blog helps keep the site fresh and should also help gain a better SEO ranking. Many of our clients have blog functionality and several of the readymade designs have blogs incorporated into them.
DO YOU OUTSOURCE ANY OF THE WORK?
No. We complete all work within our office. We are based on the outskirts of Bristol but we work for clients throughout the world. Around 90% of our clients are based in the UK but as we do everything remotely we can work for you wherever you may be.
DO I NEED A SSL CERTIFICATE ON MY WEBSITE?
There is an increasing importance being driven by both browser development companies and Google for websites to have a SSL certificate where forms exist. In simple terms this just means that the data being sent over the internet is encrypted and less likely to then be read by third parties. We agree that making websites secure helps make the internet more secure and may also help your website rank better in Google and therefore we include a SSL with every readymade website.
I ALREADY HAVE HOSTING, A DOMAIN OR EMAIL
That’s no problem at all. There are various different options so please contact us so that we can discuss the best configuration for you. Please note that our service is only offered as a hosted solution so your website will ultimately need to be hosted by us.
CAN YOU HELP ME WITH MARKETING?
Yes. We offer SEO services which are probably the most cost effective way of promoting any business. You can add these to your account at any time and most people do this after they go live. There is no minimum contract so you are not tied in but we do suggest that you need to try it for at least 3 months as true organic search engine optimisation does take time.
CAN YOU HELP ME WITH MY LOGO AND BRANDING.
Yes. We offer a logo design service. When you sign up for your readymade website you can add a logo and this costs £275. The logo design is a bespoke service so it may take a few extra days to complete your project but we offer unlimited revisions of your logo until you are 100% happy.
WHAT CONTENT MANAGEMENT (CMS) SYSTEMS DO YOU WORK WITH?
Every website that we build is built using Editir. This allows us to work efficiently but also to support all our clients well. We only work using this system and we offer our service as a hosted solution.
ONCE THE SITE IS LIVE HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET THINGS CHANGED?
You will be able to update the content on your website using our content management system. However if you need something more involved or don’t have time then we will make any updates required for a charge. We will agree every support task with you upfront, so that you understand exactly what is involved, and where possible suggest alternative solutions, which maybe simpler and therefore more cost effective for you.
